  I have had good experiences here. In my opinion his prices were reasonable and actually below what I had expected to pay - it all depends on the job to be done. When I drop things off he asks when I need it by. If I tell him I need it quickly he gets it done. When I tell him I'm not in any hurry and it doesn't matter, it gets forgotten until I remind him. It's a very small business and worth supporting. I like going there because it looks and feels reminiscent of times when shops like this were how we did business

  I brought in a chair to be reupholstered and called him 5 minutes later to tell him I've changed my mind b/c his quote was way too expensive and that I would be picking up my chair. I arrived to find my last name written in ink across the seat! He ruined my chair leaving me no choice but to have to get it reupholstered. He claimed that how he marks all his furniture but when I first visited the store, none of the other "to be done" furniture was marked in that way. I think he was disgruntled that I was not going to give him the work. He was unreasonable to do anything for me and didn't care one bit that he just ruined my chair. Oh, and when I called him 2 minutes after leaving his store to tell him this just wasn't right, he avoided my call. Don't use this guy. Your experience with him will not be a good one.
